Non-invasive prenatal testing (NIPT) has transformed prenatal care by offering meaningful genetic insight from a simple maternal blood draw — with no risk to the pregnancy.
When can you test?
NIPT can be performed from 10 weeks of gestation. Testing earlier can result in insufficient fetal fraction and require a repeat sample.
Screening is not diagnosis
This distinction matters enormously. NIPT has a high detection rate for common chromosomal conditions, but it remains a screening test. A high-risk result should always be confirmed with a diagnostic procedure before any clinical decision is made.
What happens after your result
Every NIPT result is reviewed by our clinical team and delivered with access to genetic counseling. If a result is high risk, your counselor will explain the confirmatory options available to you.
