The ideal sampling time is between 11 to 17 hours after the last dose of haloperidol. A sample of 2 mL (1 mL min.) serum should be collected from a Red Top (No Additive) tube. Please do not use SST gel barrier tubes and ensure the sample is shipped refrigerated or frozen.
