Sample Type: 3 mL (2 mL min.) whole blood in 1 Lavender Top (EDTA) tube, 3 mL (2 mL min.) plasma from 2 Lavender Top (EDTA) tubes, and 3 mL (2 mL min.) serum from 1 SST. Separate plasma within 2 hours of collection. Ship refrigerated. DO NOT FREEZE. 12 hours fasting is recommended. Hemolysed specimens are not acceptable.
