Pre-Test Instructions
It is mandatory to submit a duly filled Covid-19 Clinical Information Form (Form 44) and SRF ID as mandated by the Government of India (GOI). Ensure that you follow all pre-test instructions to guarantee accurate results.
Sample Type
The test requires the following samples:
- Oropharyngeal and Nasopharyngeal Swabs / ET secretions / BAL / Sputum inoculated in special viral transport medium (VTM).
- 3 mL (2 mL min.) serum from 1 SST.
- 3 mL (2 mL min.) whole blood in 1 Lavender Top (EDTA) tube.
Please ship refrigerated in a special transport box available from LPL. DO NOT FREEZE. Overnight fasting is preferred.
Turnaround Time
Samples are accepted daily by 11 am, and results will be reported within 2 days.
